My Story

Jack & Maple Co. is named after my two beloved dogs, Jack and Maple. Within a single year I said goodbye to both companions. Their loss shook my world, but it also reminded me of the healing power of creative work. Returning to pottery — a craft I had practiced for four years but set aside for a decade — provided space for reflection, comfort, and connection.

My pieces carry echoes of memories: the warmth of a wagging tail, autumn hikes through crunchy leaves, and the quiet companionship of a friend at my side.
